Core Features
Plug & Play: No software or driver installation required; the device automatically recognizes the connected displays.
Signal Amplification: The splitter includes a built-in buffer and amplifier. This allows you to use longer HDMI cables (typically up to 8–15 meters) without losing signal quality.
HDCP Compliant: Supports HDCP 1.2/1.3, ensuring that protected content (like Netflix or Blu-ray) can be shared across screens without being blocked.
- Durable Build: Usually features a metal heat-sink casing to prevent overheating during long-term use.
- LED Indicators: Front-facing LEDs show which output ports are currently receiving an active signal.Common Use Cases
Retail/Showrooms: Displaying promotional videos on four TVs at once.
Gaming: Splitting a console signal to a TV and a dedicated capture card or second monitor.
Home Theater: Connecting one media box to both a projector and a standard television.
Security: Distributing a DVR/CCTV feed to multiple monitoring stations.
Important Notes for Setup
Duplicate Only: This device cannot extend your desktop (it will not show different windows on each screen). It only mirrors the primary screen.
Resolution Matching: If you connect a 4K TV and a 1080p TV at the same time, the splitter will typically default to the lowest common resolution (1080p) to ensure all screens can display the image.
Power: While some devices “parasite” power from the HDMI cable, it is highly recommended to use the provided 5V power supply to ensure a stable 4K signal.
