Important Usage Tips
Mirroring Only: Just like the 4-port version, this device duplicates the image. It does not allow you to extend your desktop to 8 different independent windows.
Resolution Balancing: If your displays have different native resolutions (e.g., seven 4K TVs and one 1080p monitor), the splitter will typically downscale the signal to 1080p for all screens to ensure everyone gets a picture.
Cable Quality: For 4K signals, it is highly recommended to use AWG26 HDMI 1.4 (or higher) cables. For distances over 10 meters, high-quality shielded cables are necessary to prevent flickering.
